After quickly falling behind 10 points behind the New Orleans Saints on Saturday, the Seattle Seahawks found a way to answer back with a score and please their home crowd at Qwest Field. Matt Hasselbeck connected with John Carlson for a touchdown.
Seahawks Vs. Saints: Matt Hasselbeck Answers Back, Cuts Lead To 10-7
Hasselback, who is still battling injury, got off to a bad start when he threw an interception on the Seahawks’ third offensive play of the game. He recovered nicely during his second drive, which began at the Seahawks’ 43 thanks to a sky-high kick from the Saints’ Thomas Morstead. Hasselbeck threw a series of quick strikes, ending with the touchdown pass to Carlson.
The Saints now lead, 10-7, with seconds left in the first quarter. They now have the ball.
