Fare Thee Well, Booty Lounge

You may remember hearing about The Booty Lounge a few weeks ago, just about the same time the Detroit Police did.

The mobile strip club on a bus had been showing up at Detroit Lions games since 2005, a welcome respite from the horrors of Lions football. Now that the Lions are good again, it looks like there's no more room for Booty. The bus had been booted from the area.

The Booty Lounge bus heeded police orders to pull out of town before the Monday Night Football game. They’re not sure they’ll be back.

“I guess we just got kicked out,” said bus operator Joe Parsons.

And so, it looks like the dream ends for those involved. The real crime is that Lions fans were robbed of the opportunity to support the fight against Breast Cancer, which The Booty Lounge promised to do with some of the proceeds.

And so, it seems that as long as the Lions are doing well, The Booty Lounge has no place near the stadium. That might be good news for them, since, after all, we are talking about the Detroit Lions.
