NFL Picks And Predictions Week 6: Bills Vs. Giants

The Buffalo Bills travel south to face the New York Giants. Can the Giants get back on track after being upset at home by the Seahawks last week?

Mercurial. That might be the best way to describe the New York Giants this season. Tom Coughlin's team started the season by losing to the Washington Redskins, but managed to get things back on track for awhile starting with a week 2 win over the St. Louis Rams. The NFC West proved to be too much for them last week. Seattle beat the Giants, in New Jersey, thanks in part to three Eli Manning interceptions.

If you need a word to describe the Buffalo Bills, you might start with upstart or shocking. Whatever you pull out of your magic thesaurus, no words can tarnish the way the Bills have started the season. Ryan Fitzpatrick can score oodles of points, and the defense leads the NFL with 12 interceptions. Can they win the battle of New York this week?

Peter King says that the Bills will indeed win, and gives a nice recipe for how they can do it.

I'm the only one in the media who actually can figure out the Giants. When their running game is healthy (Brandon Jacobs and Chris Snee are iffy for the game) and their pass-rush is strong (Osi Umenyiora and Justin Tuck are iffy as well), the Giants can beat any team in the land. Without them, they can lose to Seattle. Ergo, this prediction. Plus this Ryan Fitzpatrick guy can play.

CBS splits their picks for this one. ESPN is all over the map in what might be the toughest game to predict this week.
