Dallas Cowboys second-year wide receiver Dez Bryant finished with four receptions for 78 yards against the New England Patriots today. Bryant benefited some from the return of Miles Austin. He did not score a touchdown, but nearly lost his pants and gave viewers a look at the moon during the Cowboys’ loss today.
Bryant was averaging 57 receiving yards a game with 171 receiving yards on the season and three touchdowns through his first five weeks of the 2011 NFL season. Bryant’s receiving yards per game is up nearly 10 yards per game.

The return of Miles Austin has been a huge boost for Tony Romo. Against the Patriots, Austin has caught seven passes for 74 yards with the game nearing the two minute warning in New England. Austin has been out of action since the Cowboys’ narrow win over the 49ers earlier in the season.
Austin was averaging 116 receiving yards a game with 233 receiving yards on the season and four touchdowns through his first five weeks of the 2011 NFL season. Austin’s receiving yards per game is up nearly 50 yards per game.
