Eagles Trade Ronnie Brown To Lions For Jerome Harrison, Seventh Round Pick
The Eagles and Lions made a deal before the NFL trade deadline as Philly traded Ronnie Brown to Detroit for Jerome Harrison and a 2013 seventh round pick.
The NFL trade deadline was at 4:00 p.m. (ET) on Tuesday and news of this trade was made public right at the deadline.
Brown signed with the Eagles in the offseason after spending six seasons with the Miami Dolphins and has made little impact for the Eagles. LeSean McCoy has proven he can handle the bulk of the load so Brown had just 13 carries on the season.
This is a pretty minor trade considering each player is averaging about two touches per game. SB Nation’s Bleeding Green Nation and Pride of Detroit will have a full break down of the trade.
