Broncos Vs. Packers: Game Time, TV Schedule, Announcers And More

The Denver Broncos head to Lambeau Field in an upset bid against the Green Bay Packers.

The Denver Broncos, 1-2, will take on the undefeated Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field on Sunday. Coming off a loss to the Matt Hasselbeck-led Tennessee Titans, the Broncos will be considered significant underdogs against an explosive Aaron Rodgers-led offense.

First things first for the Broncos will be getting healthier across the board. DE Elvis Dumervil, CB Champ Bailey and LB D.J. Williams could all return this week, providing a massive boost to the defense. Unfortunately the offense should still be without Demaryius Thomas and Eddie Royal, and is still dealing with a gimpy Knowshon Moreno. Even when healthy, it's tough to imagine the Broncos' offense keeping up with a Packers' offense ranked fifth in the league scoring 33 points per game.

Of course, injuries were a major issue for the Packers this time last season, too. Their relatively good health this season makes them an easy favorite to make a repeat trip to the Super Bowl. Starting with Jermichael Finley, who missed nearly all of 2010. Finley is arguably the best tight end in the game right now, with Antonio Gates struggling to overcome a foot injury. Finley is coming off a monster game against the Bears, catching seven passes for 85 yards and three touchdowns. When paired with a receiving corps filled with deep threats, Finley's size and athleticism makes him a pitch-pefect red zone target.

The Packers are 13-point favorites according to the oddsmakers, and there is plenty of reason for the big line. A win by a hamstrung Broncos squad would be considered a major upset in a young NFL season. With the Packers coming off an important win over the Bears, the possibility of a letdown is there, however.
