Peyton Hillis Status Update: Strep Throat Passes, Browns RB Good To Go

Cleveland Browns running back Peyton Hillis missed last weeks game with strep throat, and he took a lot of heat for it from Browns fans. Hillis told reporters that during his illness, he lost 10 to 12 pounds, which is quite a bit for a big back like Hillis.

Hillis defended his position to sit himself saying, “The people that really care about me and want the best for me would understand,” he said. “And the people that don’t, then they don’t. But I can’t control that. And I’m going to do what’s best for me at that point. If it’s going to jeopardize my health in that situation, I’m going to take my own life in my own hands and do the best I can.”

On the season, Hillis has 44 carries for 151 yards and 2 touchdowns. He looks good to go against the Tennessee Titans, so starting him on your fantasy team shouldn't be an issue.
