Danny Amendola Injury Update: Amendola Inactive Vs. Redskins

The little wide receiver who somehow amassed 85 receptions in 2010 is inactive for the third straight game in Week 4 for the Rams' game against the Redskins. Amendola dislocated his elbow in his first game against the Eagles.

There was some speculation that Amendola might play to give a huge boost to QB Sam Bradford and the team, trying to turn around a 0-3 start. That was stoked when he was listed as questionable all week, but with a bye week forthcoming in Week 5, it made too much sense for the Rams to rest him another week and play him in Week 6 when he's fully recovered.

For fantasy owners, nothing has changed. If you insist on rolling with a Rams receiver, you should look at Brandon Gibson, but you should also enjoy the cellar, because why are you insisting on rolling with a Rams receiver?
