Jeremy Maclin Status Update: Eagles Receiver Likely To Play

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin suffered a hamstring injury last week in the Eagles loss to the New York Giants. Thankfully for Eagles fans and fantasy owners, Maclin is listed as probable on the injury report and is expected to play. Maclin has been limited all week in practice, but it sounds like that was by choice rather than necessity.

"I didn't see anything. We limited his work yesterday, so today he did all the stuff and he felt pretty good. He felt good coming out of yesterday which I thought was important," Eagles head coach Andy Reid said on Friday. As it stands Maclin looks like a start against the San Francisco 49ers. The 49ers secondary has been beat so far this season, so even though Maclin is playing with a hamstring injury, he should still be effective.
