Marques Colston Status Update: Colston Expected To Start Against Jaguars

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marques Colston suffered a broken collarbone in the first week of the season, but seemingly will play on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Colston began practice on Wednesday, just three weeks after breaking his collarbone. How effective Colston will be in the game is still a big question mark, but the fact that it's just a few weeks from breaking it, it's doubtful Colston will be a big time factor.

Saints coach Sean Payton seemed to indicate it's a forgone conclusion Colston will play as well, saying "He's clear. He'll be up (cleared) this week." That sounds pretty definitive. As far as what Colston will do defensively, he's facing a top 10 pass defense in the Jaguars, but they will also be without one of their starting cornerbacks in Derek Cox.
