Green Bay Packers running back Ryan Grant has been ruled out of today's game against the Denver Broncos. Grant sustained a bruised kidney in last weeks game against the Chicago Bears. (HOW DO YOU BRUISE A KIDNEY? OW!) Grant finished out the game last week, but was held back in practice all week.
Ryan Grant Status Update: Rules Out Due To Bruised Kidney
With Grant ruled out, that means James Starks should get the majority of the carries at running back. This is good news for Starks owners, since there won't be really anyone to "split" carries. Alex Green will now be the primary back up running back with Grant out of the game. If you're desperate for a running back play, Green might net you some points, as the Broncos struggle to stop the run. Starks should have a nice day as the full time back.
