Felix Jones Injury Update: Cowboys Running Back A Go

Dallas Cowboys running back Felix Jones suffered a shoulder injury last week against the Washington Redskins. Initially a concerning injury, Jones practiced all week for the Cowboys and is listed as probable for the game against the Detroit Lions. Against the Redskins, Felix finally looked like that explosive running back everyone thought he would be, rushing 15 times for 115 yards and also catching 3 passes for 40 yards.

Jones will be facing a Detroit Lions defense who've given up an average of over 100 rushing yards a game. Despite the talent on their defensive line and the potential debut of defensive tackle and first round pick Nick Fairley, Jones should be able to have a nice game. Despite giving up the yardage however, the Lions have given up only a single rushing touchdown on the season.
