Minnesota Vikings star running back Adrian Peterson is dealing with a calf injury, but is listed as probable on the injury report and is expected to start on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs. Peterson didn't really seem to be hampered by his injury, but he did was limited to only 17 carries last week against the Detroit Lions.
Adrian Peterson Status Update: Will Start For Vikings
Peterson has a great match up this week against a Chiefs team who is playing very poorly on both sides of the ball. As it stands on the season, Peterson is 6th in fantasy points and shouldn't be slowing down this week. His calf injury has been downplayed all week by the team, so only the real worry with Peterson is if he'll mysteriously disappear in the second half of the game again, like in past weeks. The Vikings for some reason have given up second half carries to Toby Gerhart, but head coach Leslie Frazier has said that's not the ideal plan. Look for Peterson to get a lot of good work against the Chiefs.
