Darren McFadden Status Update: Raiders Running Back Will Start

Oakland Raiders running back Darren McFadden has been dealing with a groin and shoulder issue all week, but is listed as probable and is expected to start against the New England Patriots today. The issue is probably because McFadden is rushing for so many yards on everyone. As it stands, McFadden has 393 rushing yards and a yards per carry average of 6.3. He's not expected to slow down this week, either.

McFadden is a great play this week going against a New England Patriots defense that has trouble stopping everyone. The Patriots defense is consistently bailed out by their offense and McFadden has gone for over 150 yards in two of three games this season. The Raiders will look to feed McFadden on the ground and in the air and the Patriots defense will have trouble stopping him.
