Calvin Johnson Status Update: Ankle Injury Won’t Stop Lions WR

Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson is dealing with an ankle injury, but he will start against the Dallas Cowboys. Johnson has practiced in all week for the Lions and there's no reason he will not go. He's listed as probable on the injury report. On the season, Johnson has 225 receiving yards and 6 touchdowns. He's caught at least two touchdowns per game so far. The ankle injury at this point is of no concern what so ever.

Against the Dallas Cowboys, Johnson is a prime play at the receiver position. The Cowboys secondary has given up massive passing yardage all season long and the way Matt Stafford is playing for the Lions shouldn’t change that at all. Johnson is the primary receiving and primary redzone target for the Lions. He’s a no-brainer fantasy play this week.
