First, the good news: it looks like Frank Gore will in fact start, despite missing practice this week with an ankle injury. ESPN’s Sal Paolantonio just confirmed as much on the air:

“I just talked to head coach Jim Harbaugh. Running back Frank Gore, who was limited in practice with an ankle injury all week long, will start in the game, according to Coach Harbaugh”
Now, the disclaimer: even if Gore plays, will he carry a full load? 49ers offensive coordinator Greg Roman already said that Kendall Hunter and Anthony Dixon are expected to get playing time, which means even if Gore is active his fantasy value will still take a hit by the committee approach.
