The New Orleans Saints came into Jacksonville looking for a win in Week 4 over a team starting a rookie quarterback. The Jaguars didn't provide much resistance, never leading in the Saints' 23-10 victory.

Drew Brees got the Saints off to a fast start, leading the Saints on touchdown drives that put New Orleans up 14-0 early in the second quarter. Blaine Gabbert and the Jags pulled within 14-10 at the half, but did little in the second half as New Orleans tacked on three John Kasay field goals for the final 23-10 margin.

Brees threw two interceptions, but also finished with 351 yards and a touchdown to Jimmy Graham, who led all players with 10 catches and 132 receiving yards. Darren Sproles led the Saints with 75 yards on seven carries, and Mark Ingram added 55 rushing yards.

Gabbert had an awful day, throwing for just 196 yards and completing just 16 of his 42 attempts, but he did find Zach Miller for the Jaguars' touchdown. Maurice Jones-Drew had 84 rushing yards in the losing effort.

The Saints move to 3-1 with the win, and have rebounded nicely from their season-opening loss in Green Bay. Jacksonville falls to 1-3 with the loss.
