Terrell Owens To Hold Workout On Tuesday, According To Drew Rosenhaus

Just a day after agent Drew Rosenhaus said Terrell Owens was ready to return from his torn ACL, and could play this Sunday, Rosenhaus announced an open workout in California, set for next Tuesday. Owens has been rehabbing his surgically-repaired ACL while maintaining he’s ready to play recently.

According to Rosenhaus, Owens plans to show off his progress, and readiness, in the workout.

TO will be running routes and doing agility drills for teams and media this Tue in California, agent Drew Rosenhaus said.

It’s probably not worth it to read too much into this. Rosenhaus is all about drumming up interest in his clients, and Owens is his main focus right now. Whether the workout means a bunch of teams are inquiring about Owens availability or few teams are inquiring, necessitating a public workout in front of the media, remains to be seen.

Either way, expect a small circus when he does take the field to run routes. Hopefully the workout includes situps as camera capture Owens’ every move.
