The Dolphins quarterback situation continues to get more hilarious dire. Miami has brought in J.P. Losman, according to ESPN.com's James Walker.
Dolphins Add J.P. Losman With Sage Rosenfels Now Unavailable
The Dolphins have brought in J.P. Losman to provide depth at quarterback.
The Dolphins are scrambling for quarterback depth with starter Matt Moore suffering from bruised ribs in a Week 7 loss to Denver. (Moore is expected to play this week against the Giants.) Miami placed backup QB Sage Rosenfels on the reserve/non-football injury list list today. (The Dolphins did not specify a reason, but according to the Star-Ledger, it's a continuation of a strep throat/blood infection which Rosenfels dealt with before being released from the Giants.)
The quarterback depth chart has been unstable and unsavory since the offseason, when Miami engaged in trade talkswith the Broncos about acquiring Kyle Orton. The silver lining for the Dolphins is that at 0-6, the franchise is tied atop the #SuckForLuck campaign, the informal title given the teams vying for the first round pick in the 2012 NFL draft and a chance to select Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck.
