The New Orleans Saints will travel to St. Louis to play the Rams this weekend and they won't have Mark Ingram. The rookie running back left last Sunday's game with a heel injury, which will keep him out this week.
Mark Ingram Injury: Saints RB Ruled Out Week 8 Vs. Rams
Ingram's loss won't be too significant considering the Saints are heavy favorites over the winless (and Sam Bradford-less) Rams. Drew Brees and the Saints passing attack has been effective enough that the Rams should be fine without Ingram this weekend.
Ingram has been a productive running back this season earning nearly four yards per carry on 329 yards for the season, along with three touchdowns. Darren Sproles and Pierre Thomas will make up for his absence this weekend.
Despite Ingram’s absence, SB Nation’s Saints blog, Canal Street Chronicles, predicts the Saints will have over 150 yards rushing.
