San Diego Chargers wide receiver Vincent Jackson left Sunday's 26-16 victory over the Miami Dolphins with a leg injury. While he returned to the game he was limited in that time and is a bit of a question mark heading into week five against the San Diego Chargers.
Vincent Jackson Injury Update: Overcompensation May Have Caused Leg Muscle Strain
The Chargers seem to suspect the injury was the result of compensating for an abdomen strain that sidelined him for three practices over the last two weeks. He has been able to play and excel with the abdomen strain, but as it causes additional injuries it is worth tracking. He’ll likely miss some practice again this week and end up on the final injury report once more.
The Chargers-Broncos game will be a late one this week at 4:15pm ET, so you may find yourself waiting out the decision. If you have late game running back and receiving options other than Jackson, one of the best options is slotting him into your flex position. That gives you an opportunity to replace him if he's a late scratch. I suspect he'll be able to play next Sunday, but it is always best to be prepared for the worst.
