Ben Roethlisberger Injury Update: Sprain, Not Break Leaves Week Five In Question

Sunday afternoon, Ben Roethlisberger injured his foot during the Steelers 17-10 defeat in Houston and early reports were concerned about a possible break. The latest report however, indicates the injury is a sprained foot. Although it is not as severe as a break, the injury does leave Roethlisberger in question for Sunday's Steelers-Titans game.

At this point in the season, Roethlisberger has put up some solid enough fantasy numbers but something is just not clicking for the Steelers. They are 2-2 but they seem worse and in a similar sense, something seems worse about Roethlisberger than his numbers would indicate. As long as he’s getting the stats it’s not the end of the world, but it’s worth noting if his numbers do eventually start to take a dip.

In the meantime, we’ll keep an eye on the Steelers practice participation reports Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. I’d imagine Roethlisberger will be no better than limited in practice, and possibly sit out practice entirely.
