NFL Scores Week 8, Colts Vs. Titans: Tennessee Extends Indy’s Misery, 27-10

The Titans weren’t thoroughly impressive in Week 8, but NFL teams don’t have to be impressive to beat the Colts.

The Tennessee Titans' running game has all but evaporated, and the Titans' passing game can't really go down the field. When playing the Colts, though, that really doesn't matter: Tennessee rolled to an easy 27-10 win over the only eight-loss team in the NFL.

Titans quarterback Matt Hasselbeck threw for 224 yards and a touchdown in the victory, while Javon Ringer and Chris Johnson combined for 94 rushing yards.

Curtis Painter was better than he has been for the Colts, throwing for 250 yards and leading all rushers with 79 yards on the ground (no, really), but his two interceptions helped Tennessee build a 20-0 halftime lead, and he completed just 26 of 49 passes on the day.

The Titans improve to 4-3 on the year with the victory, while the Colts fall to 0-8 with the loss — pole position in the 2012 NFL Draft sweepstakes that has Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck as its grand prize.
