The New Orleans Superdome now has a sponsor: Mercedes-Benz. The Saints and the company confirmed that they've reached an agreement on a 10-yard naming rights deal which means the Superdome is now the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
Saints Stadium To Be Called Mercedes-Benz Superdome
The Saints and Mercedes-Benz agreed on a 10-year naming rights deal this week, the team and car company announced.

Mercedes-Benz made a statement on the new deal, which will be officially made public on Tuesday.
“The joining of the Mercedes-Benz brand with the world-class Saints organization and the Superdome, an iconic destination which has undergone an incredible transformation over the past six years, is a significant moment for us, the City of New Orleans, and the State of Louisiana,” said Ernst Lieb, president and CEO of Mercedes-Benz USA, in a prepared statement.

There's no word on the cost involved for this deal. The price of naming rights on stadiums has been going down in recent years, which is why stadiums like the Cowboys don't have a naming sponsor, so it's a difficult time to forecast how much the Saints might've received.
It’s pretty amazing to think that just over six years ago, the roof of the Superdome was ravaged and it was housing folks affected by Hurricane Katrina. It re-opened in 2006, the Saints won a Super Bowl four years later and the rest is history.
