Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton continues to put up strong passing numbers in his rookie season, but his team has just one win so far this season. Newton threw for 374 yards against the Bears, but he was able to find the end zone just once through the air. His team lost, 34-29. Newton and the Panthers will face another tough test when they host the New Orleans Saints on Sunday. The Panthers are seven-point underdogs entering this game, according to Odds Shark.

The Saints are 3-1 and 3-0 since their season-opening loss against the Green Bay Packers. The high-scoring offense of the Saints slowed down last week against the Jaguars in a 23-10 victory, but Drew Brees did torch the Jaguars for 351 passing yards. He'll face the No. 6 pass defense in the league, which allows just 203 yards per game.

The Panthers have kept their games close, having all their decisions settled by seven points or less. Drew Brees and the Saints can end that this week.
