Brandon Jacobs Injury Status: Doubtful For Giants Vs. Seahawks On Sunday

Brandon Jacobs' knee injury will likely sideline him for the Giants game Sunday vs. the Seahawks. The backup running back's status is listed as doubtful on the Giants' Friday injury report.

Jacobs missed team practice on Thursday because of the MCL sprain, the second practice he’s missed this week.

The good news for New York is two-fold. First, they've relied heavily on Ahmad Bradshaw in the run game this season. He has 17 more carries than Jacobs and has average a whole yard more per rush. The Giants will also happily welcome the 1-3 Seahawks to New Meadowlands Stadium for a game New York should manage to win without their big back.

As for the fantasy spin, expect Bradshaw to get a few more touches. He and Jacobs each have two touchdowns this season, but Bradshaw will get the goal-line carries on Sunday. Running back Danny Ware should get Jacobs' touches and the Giants could activate seventh-round draft pick Da'Rel Scott.
