Raiders Vs. Chargers: Man Stabbed In Qualcomm Stadium Parking Lot Following Game

A 25-year-old man was stabbed in the parking lot of Qualcomm Stadium following the San Diego Chargers’ 24-17 loss to the Oakland Raiders on Thursday night, according to reports. The stabbing was reportedly the result of some kind of altercation following the game, and the victim was transported to a local hospital with a wound to his abdomen.

However, this may not be a case of a rivalry gone wrong.

Two men started fighting after the game and it doesn't appear the fight had anything to do with a sports rivalry, San Diego police Officer David Stafford said.

The injury doesn't appear to be life-threatening, Stafford said. The victim was treated at a hospital for a stab wound to the abdomen.

The report added that the victim was uncooperative with police after being transported to a local hospital and treated for his wound.
