VIDEO: Lions, Bears Decide To Fight Because Why Not?
Moore, apparently annoyed Stafford took him down by the head, reacted by pouncing on Stafford after the play had been blown dead. Unfortunately for Moore, Stafford was surrounded by teammates, who quickly got involved, starting a mini scrum in an increasingly chippy game. Here’s the wonderful video.
Moore was ejected on the play, the only player tossed out of the game. He definitely deserved it, but it wouldn’t have been surprising to see a couple of Lions get the boot, as well.

At this point, Giants fans probably can’t decide whether to love or hate Eli Manning. This is the second of two absolutely stellar touchdown passes in this game, but he’s thrown two interceptions that were as baffling and stupid as the touchdown passes were good. This TD pass has his team back within one score, trailing the 49ers 27-20, but the Giants would likely be tied or in the lead if it wasn’t for his poor decision making. In any event, his mistakes and highlights have worked together to produce an exciting finish to this game.

Check out this pitch the Miami ran in the fourth quarter because it’s basically what everyone thought Bush would do when New Orleans drafted the Heisman Trophy winner with the second overall pick in the 2006 draft.
Bush comes in motion, takes a pitch, then cuts upfield and explodes past the line of scrimmage and through the Redskins defense. The touchdown gave the Dolphins a 20-9 lead in the fourth quarter, putting Miami’s second win of the season on ice.

It’s been that kind of day for Fitzpatrick, who is having easily his worst game of the season. Barring a massive turnaround, he’ll throw for fewer than 200 yards for the second straight week and throw more interceptions than touchdowns for the second straight week.
His second pick made the score 44-7, while his final interception capped an entirely forgettable day. He has now tossed nine interceptions in the past five weeks.

Meachem ran a post pattern to the back of the end zone, reaching up to make the catch in man coverage. That was Meachum’s second catch of the game. Both grabs were big ones. He caught a 36-yard pass earlier in the game. He has two catches for 69 yards. That represents the biggest game for Meachem since the first week of the season, when he had 70 yards on five catches in a loss to the Packers.
It was the second touchdown pass for Drew Brees. The Saints quarterback has 240 passing yards, completing 20 of 29 throws in the game so far. He has not thrown an interception.

It’s a nice moment, even if it does seem a bit awkward. The cheerleader doesn’t seem to know quite what do do with the football, as it’s not a prop she can readily use. She also got a nice little hug for her troubles. You do have to wonder if this is necessarily a good thing for her, though, as fraternizing with the enemy tends to be frowned upon.

This is one of those Madden-Glitch receptions that needs to be seen to believed. Here’s the video of the highlight catch before it gets sent to NFL Films to be set to terrific cello music.
Kissing Suzy Kolber’s Mike Tunison said it best: “This Jonathan Baldwin catch won’t be on the stat sheet, so we’re gonna have to build a statue for it or something.”

Speaking of Romo, you just gotta love this guy if you are a fantasy football player. Regardless of his real world value, he seems to put up huge numbers almost every week. In the first half, he already has three touchdowns and 179 yards. He’s also 11 of 11 passing, in case you were wondering.

The touchdown was Green’s sixth of the season and this might be his best one. He did come down awkwardly, which put a bit of a scare into the moment, but he was able to walk off the field under his own power and appeared to be fine.

The St. Louis Rams expected to get something going on offense after trading for wide receiver Brandon Lloyd. So far, it’s paying dividends. On their second possession of the game, Brandon Lloyd’s hands made all the difference for the Rams.
Then, Bradford found Lloyd in the end zone to put the Rams on the board. It was just Bradford’s fourth touchdown of the season. The Rams used up five minutes of clock time on the drive that bled into the second quarter with the touchdown pass. It was a 69-yard drive with 10 plays, including Lloyd’s highlight catch, the kind of plays the Rams have been sorely missing all season.
