There were good signs for the Tennessee Titans almost everywhere they looked during their 30-3 win over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. The best sign might have been the play of Chris Johnson, who rushed for 130 yards and scored a touchdown. It was Johnson's first 100-yard rushing day since Oct. 2 and just his second time eclipsing the century mark all year.
NFL Scores Week 10, Titans Vs. Panthers: Chris Johnson’s Breakout Game Powers Titans’ Win
Chris Johnson has a breakout game and the Titans defense shuts down Cam Newton.

The rushing effort was a season best for Johnson, whose struggles have been one of the things haunting the Titans all year. Just for good measure, Johnson also caught four passes for 44 yards. The 174 total yards from scrimmage was the most he’s had since Week 14 of the 2010 season.
Of perhaps equally good news for the Titans was the play of their defense. They sacked Carolina quarterback Cam Newton five times and limited him to 212 yards passing on 40 attempts. The Panthers ended up with just 279 yards of total offense.
