Quarterback injuries have been in the news as we enter Week 11 with Matt Schaub likely to miss the rest of the season for the Houston Texans and Matt Cassel possibility being out for the year for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Ben Roethlisberger Has Thumb Injury; Steelers QB Expected To Play Week 12
Ben Roethlisberger has a splint on his thumb but the injury is not expected to keep him out of any games.

We can add Ben Roethlisberger to the quarterback injury list. The Pittsburgh Steelers QB has a right thumb injury but it's not expected to prevent him from playing after the Steelers get off the bye this week, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Roethlisberger has been wearing a protective splint on his thumb and treating it with electrode stimulation. After the Steelers won in Cincinnati Sunday, Roethlisberger shook hands with his left hand.
Injuries on a quarterback’s throwing hand have to be considered somewhat serious but this is a recurring issue for Roethlisberger and it’s not expected to keep him out when the Steelers visit the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 12 on Sunday Night Football.
The Steelers are entering the bye so they’ll practice early this week before taking four consecutive days off.
Check out SB Nation’s Behind The Steel Curtain where they don’t seem too concerned about facing a Cassel-less Chiefs team in Week 12.
