Buffalo Bills receiver Stevie Johnson did not practice Wednesday, leading to speculation that he might not be ready for this weekend’s game against the Miami Dolphins.
Johnson suffered an injury to his shoulder area late in the game against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
“We’ll see what happens when we make it to Sunday. ... I’m definitely making progress. In the training room we’ve been doing a lot of treatment. Hopefully we get everything we need so once Friday or Saturday comes around I’m fully confident in going out there and using my arm and throwing people by and all that stuff for the game.”
Bills head coach Chan Gailey says he hopes to see Johnson in practice Thursday and Friday but could not guarantee anything at this point.
