According to Odds Shark, the Lions opened as the seven-point favorite against the Panthers.
Four of the five experts at CBSSports.com think the Lions will win as well.
Peter King thinks Matthew Stafford and Detroit will respond to last week’s tough game.
Matthew Stafford played one of the worst games of his life last week at Chicago. Rushed and bothered and inaccurate, he threw 19 balls to Calvin Johnson, and only seven hit the intended target. The Lions need to go to the intermediate stuff more to keep the chains moving and keep the ball out of the hands of Cam Newton. Which they’ll do.
