A.J. Green is not expected to suit up for the Cincinnati Bengals this weekend due to a knee injury suffered in last week's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Cincinnati Bengals have officially ruled Green doubtful for Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens.
A.J. Green Injury: Ruled Doubtful For Bengals Week 11 Game Vs. Ravens
In nine games this year, Green’s been one of the Bengals top receiving options with 41 receptions for 635 yards and six touchdowns, which leads all rookie receivers. This is an unfortunate time to lose him considering the Bengals are traveling to Baltimore for a huge divisional matchup with the Ravens. Both teams are tied for second in the division at 6-3.
Green hasn’t practiced all week so it’s not a huge surprise that he’s unlikely to play. Reports have been coming in throughout the week that Green’s chances of playing didn’t look great.
The Bengals are right in the middle of things in the AFC North so missing Green for more than one game would be a really bad situation.
SB Nation’s Cincy Jungle has the details on who gets the start with Green missing the game.
