Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kevin Kolb was held out of practice Wednesday due to a turf toe injury. He did however stop wearing the walking boot that he's been wearing since suffering the injury against the Baltimore Ravens last weekend.
Kevin Kolb’s Toe Injury Leaves His Week 9 Status In Question
Cardinals QB Kevin Kolb is out of his protective boot but still did not practice Wednesday.

The toe “has some color to it” and Kolb is handling the injury on a day to day basis. He says that if the injury continues to flare up, he won’t play if he’s not ready. However losing the boot does look to be a good sign.
If he can't go, backup John Skelton will step in. Skelton had a 2-2 record as a starter last season. He had a 47.6% pass completion percentage last year, which doesn't bode well for the Cardinals chances against the St. Louis Rams.
