Eagles Vs Giants Final Score: Vince Young Keeps Philadelphia’s Playoff Hopes Alive
The Eagles didn’t start the game out looking great as Young threw a couple of easily-intercepted footballs, but the former starting quarterback calmed down when it mattered. Young finished the game 258 passing yards and two touchdowns after completing 23 of his 36 passing attempts.

Cooper is Young’s top target as he’s been thrown to 12 times during the Sunday night game after not hauling in a reception at all during the first 10 weeks of the NFL season. Cooper has five receptions against the Giants, though, totaling 75 yards and the touchdown from the video below.
Vick finished the drive by completed seven of his nine passing attempts for 67 yards and the aforementioned pass to Cooper. He took reps with the first team this week, but not many could have guessed Young will lead the Eagles on a potential game-winning drive after he began the game with a pair of interceptions.

Cruz ran a pattern that didn’t look terribly difficult to defend, but as the video below will show, cornerback Nnamdi Asmougha ended the play on the ground as the man he was supposed to be covering celebrated in the end zone.
Cruz has five receptions for 81 yards and the Giants only score of the game. He’s been one of the few targets Manning has been able to find, too, as the quarterback has completed just 14 of his 30 passing attempts for 184 and an interception earlier in the first half.

After hauling in a 50-yard pass -- one that would’ve had an illegal hands to the face by the defense tacked on -- Jackson decided a Giants assistant just needed to be taunted. So he flipped the ball at the assistant, then backpedaled onto the field while brushing himself off along the way.
Side note: the reaction of the assistant is pretty priceless. He’s a football coach, but looks scared to death of the ball coming at him.

Not long after that interception, Manning returned the favor with an interception of his own. While he was lightly pursuing the return, the Eagles took a bit of a cheap shot on the quarterback.
It didn’t result in a penalty flag, but the aftermath included a bit of a brawl as the Giants and Eagles decided to defend their teammates.

Probably the best story of the day, if not the entire NFL season, is that of New York Giants linebacker Mark Herzlich. By now, you probably know his story, but if not, we’ll recap it quickly. Herzlich was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma, forcing him to miss the 2009 season at Boston College. But he returned the next year, starting all 13 games for the Eagles in one of the more inspirational season you’ll ever see.
On draft day, Herzlich never heard his name called, instead waiting out the NFL lockout with everyone else to catch on with a team. The Giants picked him up as an undrafted free agent, leading up to Sunday night’s start.

At 3-6, the Eagles’ chances of making the playoffs are slim. Should they fail to defeat the division-leading 6-3 New York Giants on Sunday night, those hopes will be all but mathematically gone. Only a great performance by the San Fransisco Giants in Week 10 against the Giants has kept the Eagles hanging on by a thread in the NFC East.
Game Date/Time: Sunday, November 20; 8:20 pm ET
