The New England Patriots took a 10-3 lead at halftime that was nearly a 14-3 lead, but Derrick Johnson stripped Danny Woodhead before he got in the endzone. On the first drive of the second half, the Patriots offense went to work. The Chiefs pass rush had been getting to Tom Brady in the first half, so the Patriots hit a screen pass early on the drive, a 25-yard screen pass to BenJarvus Green-Ellis. Green-Ellis also ripped off some runs for 8 and 12-yards. On third down on the Chiefs 19-yard line, Brady went to the Rob Gronkowski well again.
