The New York Giants fell to the Philadelphia Eagles on a late series of plays engineered by Vince Young last week. This week the Giants will need to contend with the pass-happy ways of New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees. The Saints opened the week as 6-1/2 point favorites over the Giants, according to Odds Shark. That has gone up as high as 7-1/2 points

The Saints average 31.3 points this season, second best in the league while the Giants are in the middle of the pack with 22.8. That has allowed the odds makers to place the over/under line from 50-1/2 points to 52 points (the opening number). Brees averages 320 yards per game to lead the No. 1 passing offense in the league, which could lead to plenty of good things against a team that allows nearly 240 yards through the air.
