Surprise! The San Fransisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens are playing a fantastic defensive battle. Through three quarters, the score is tied up at 6-6. However, the Ravens are driving and could find themselves scoring very soon in the fourth quarter.
49ers Vs. Ravens: Defenses Continue To Dominate Into Fourth Quarter
Frank Gore has been kept in check with just 37 yards on 13 carries, but Gore could still possibly set the 49ers franchise record for rushing yards if he passes 61 yards on the evening. Alex Smith has been effective, with his only mistake coming on the last 49ers play of the second quarter. However, it took a 52-yard field goal from David Akers to tie up the game.
To this point, neither team has 200 total yards on offense. It’s exactly what we should have expected from two of the top defenses in the league.
