VIDEO: Vince Young’s 58-Yard Bomb To Riley Cooper

The Eagles are off to a hot start at Lincoln Financial Field. On the Eagles first drive, they dialed up a bomb to Riley Cooper, with Vince Young once again showcasing his cannon and winning ability. Cooper reeled in a 58-yarder that set up a LeSean McCoy rushing touchdown. Despite not having Michael Vick, the Eagles have been going to the air to expose the weak New England secondary. It is a secondary that has been plagued by injury and a lack of talent.

Philadelphia is using their weapons to attack mismatches in the secondary with the hope that it results in points. The Eagles will need to outscore the Patriots, because they are such an offensive powerhouse. With plays like this to Riley Cooper, the Eagles will have a great chance for victory. They just need to continue to generate big plays in the passing game.

The Eagles are now holding a 10-7 lead going into the 2nd quarter.
