The Atlanta Falcons took care of business against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 12, despite Percy Harvin's best efforts. Atlanta built a 17-0 lead and never lost it despite 14 straight points from the Vikings in the second half in its 24-14 victory.

Atlanta improved to 7-4 in 2011 behind Matt Ryan’s three touchdowns, but Percy Harvin dazzled in a losing effort.
Matt Ryan threw for 262 yards and three touchdowns in the win, and 10 of those throws went to Roddy White, who tallied 120 yards and scored a touchdown. Michael Turner ran for 60 yards in the victory.
But Harvin's heroics got Minnesota within three points of the Falcons in the second half. After Toby Gerhart ran in a short touchdown to get the Vikings on the board, Harvin hauled in a fourth down touchdown pass from Christian Ponder to close the gap to 17-14. And after Atlanta extended its lead to double digits, Harvin returned a kickoff for 104 yards, all the way to Atlanta's 3, only to have the Vikings fail to score with goal to go.
Harvin had eight catches for 95 yards in the loss. Ponder threw for 186 yards, while Gerhart led Minnesota with 44 yards on the ground with Adrian Peterson still sidelined due to an ankle injury.
Atlanta improves to 7-4 on the year with the victory, while Minnesota drops to 2-9 with the loss.
