The Pittsburgh Steelers and Kansas City Chiefs are locked in a defensive battle, essentially, in their game on Sunday Night Football. It hasn't been pretty, by any means, but the Steelers have taken a 10-3 lead midway through the second quarter.
Steelers Vs. Chiefs Score: Ben Roethlisberger Ends Turnover Battle
Ben Roethlisberger found tight end Wesley Saunders in the back of the end zone for the first touchdown of the game, ending what had been an ugly game with four turnovers before the first touchdown was put on the board. It was just a two-yard touchdown pass in the box score, but it looked a lot prettier watching live.
Roethlisberger has completed eight of his 12 passing attempts for 91 yards and the above touchdown. The quarterback has connected on a couple of other deep plays, but they were called back due to penalties -- there have been five total thus far.
Chiefs quarterback Tyler Palko has connected on eight of his nine passing attempts, but two of those passes have ended up in the hands of the other team.
