The 49ers, led by Frank Gore and increasingly capable Alex Smith, opened as just 4½ point favorites this week. That line isn't very large, likely due to the fact that the team will have to travel across the country in order to lay John Beck's Redskins.
Vegas doesn’t think this game will be very exciting, at least if excitement involves high scores, as the over-under opened at a paltry 39 points ... and has been dropping.
