NFL Odds And Lines Week 9: Dolphins Vs. Chiefs

After their inexplicably embarrassing start to the 2011 NFL season, the Kansas City Chiefs have won four consecutive games to take over first place in the AFC West. Once a contender in the Andrew Luck sweepstakes, Todd Haley's team has righted the ship and now has a a playoff berth as their goal. Their Week 9 opponents, the Miami Dolphins, are a completely different story.

With the various quarterback woes that the team has suffered through since the retirement of Dan Marino, many Dolphins fans are very much on the "Suck For Luck" bandwagon and don't exactly want to see their team go on a winning streak. They came close to ending their winless start with a decent performance against the New York Giants in Week 8, but much to the delight of Luckophiles, they came up short.

The Dolphins opened as five-point underdogs and the line has shifted in their favor, with most betting for them to cover against the Chiefs. Apparently those who like to bet their money on sporting events have little faith in the Chiefs, so do what you will with that information.
