Ahmad Bradshaw Injury: Status Of Giants RB Is Uncertain After Cracked Bone In Foot

New York Giants RB Ahmad Bradshaw suffered a foot injury in last weekend's game against the Miami Dolphins. He exited the game at the time but ultimately returned. After the game, he said an old injury he had was aggravated. He sat out of Wednesday's practice with the injury.

Now the Newark Star-Ledger is reporting that Bradshaw suffered a cracked bone in his foot, an injury that will sideline him indefinitely. Those are about the only details we have right now and his status for Sunday is up in the air.

If Bradshaw can't go, RB Brandon Jacobs will see an increased role. Last weekend against the Dolphins, he rushed four times for 10 yards while Bradshaw amassed 50 yards on 13 carries.

The Giants travel to New England this weekend to play the Patriots in a Super Bowl rematch. Check out SB Nation's Big Blue View for more on Bradshaw's status for that game.
