Ahmad Bradshaw Injury: Giants RB Could Play This Weekend?

New York Giants RB Ahmad Bradshaw was injured in last week's victory over the Miami Dolphins but ultimately returned to the game. The Newark Star-Ledger reported that the injury was a cracked bone in his foot and that he will be sidelined "indefinitely."

Apparently. "indefinitely" means just a few days. At least according to ESPN's Adam Schefter who cites a source that says Bradshaw's injury isn't serious and he should be available for Sunday's game against the New England Patriots. The report says surgery won't be necessary.

Giants head coach said on Thursday that Bradshaw would see a foot specialist but he wasn’t sure whether surgery was needed. Surgery would make him miss a significant amount of time, maybe even the entire season.

The Giants play in New England on Sunday so we may not know until the inactives come out on that whether Bradshaw is available. He didn’t practice on Wednesday.

Check out SB Nation’s Big Blue View where tons of Giants fans are weighing in on the reports.
