Terrell Owens Wanted After Arrest Warrant Issued For Failure To Appear

Terrell Owens has a bench warrant out after failing to appear at a child support hearing.

Terrell Owens is a wanted man after a California judge issued an arrest warrant for him earlier this week. The warrant stems from Owens' failure to appear for a child support hearing on Oct. 24. The former Dallas Cowboys and Cincinnati Bengals receiver is trying to rework the child support he owes in light of his current (un)employment situation.

But Owens had a good reason to miss the hearing ... or maybe not.

Owens claims he was not trying to shirk his responsibilities as a father. In fact, quite the opposite. Owens says he failed to show for the Oct. 24 hearing becasue that was the day he was holding his public workout session trying to impress NFL teams to show he has recovered from ACL surgery.

Remember, nobody showed up to the workout, other than cameras from NFL Network. Owens tried to reschedule the court date to no avail, leading to the arrest warrant after he simply didn’t show up the hearing.

In the meantime, Owens is reportedly taking care of the bench warrant.
