Darren Sproles Fantasy Stats: Receiving TD For Saints RB

As usual, Darren Sproles was more of a threat (for fantasy stats and otherwise) in the receiving game than the running game. Sproles caught five passes for 57 yards and a touchdown on Sunday. He also rushed once for 20 yards.

Sproles had 305 rushing yards and 389 receiving yard on the season with 2 rushing touchdown entering Week 9. Sproles was averaging 38 yards rushing per game and 49 yards receiving per game. Sproles’ rushing yards per game were up nearly 20 yards per game from last season.

Sproles was ranked as the 11th ranked running back according to Yahoo! heading into his match up with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who rank 23rd against the run, giving up 123 rushing yards per game.
