Fred Jackson Fantasy: Buffalo Bills Running Back Effective, But Commits Fumbles

When it comes to yardage production, Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson had a solid afternoon against the New York Jets. His 18 carries for 82 yards and three receptions for 38 yards are about what owners would have expected from Jackson, but those are just the positives. The negatives are that he didn’t score and that he lost two fumbles, costing a lot of fantasy owners some key points.

Jackson had 721 rushing yards and 353 receiving yard on the season with six rushing touchdowns entering Week 9. Jackson was averaging 103 yards rushing per game and 50 yards receiving per game. Jackson’s rushing yards per game were up nearly 50 yards per game from last season.

Jackson was ranked as the second ranked running back according to Yahoo! heading into his match up with the New York Jets who rank 25th against the run, giving up 127 rushing yards per game.
