Steven Jackson Fantasy Update: Rams Running Back Solid In Defeat

Steven Jackson was unable to find the end zone for the St. Louis Rams this week like he was last week against the New Orleans Saints, but the running back was still solid against the Arizona Cardinals. Jackson ran the ball 29 times for 130 yards but failed to score as the Rams ended up losing in overtime.

Jackson had 449 rushing yards and 83 receiving yard on the season with four rushing touchdowns entering Week 9. Jackson was averaging 75 yards rushing per game and 14 yards receiving per game. Jackson’s rushing yards per game were down nearly 5 yards per game from last season.

Jackson was ranked as the 8th ranked running back according to Yahoo! heading into his match up with the Arizona Cardinals who rank 15th against the run, giving up 113 rushing yards per game.
