BenJarvus Green-Ellis Fantasy Update: Patriots Lose Without Use Of Running Game

BenJarvus Green-Ellis had the most carries of any New England Patriots running back on Sunday, but that probably won't provide much solace for the his fantasy owners. The Law Firm finished Sunday's loss with 12 carries for 52 yards as Tom Brady had to throw 49 times in their loss to the New York Giants.

Green-Ellis had 400 rushing yards and 38 receiving yard on the season with 5 rushing touchdowns entering Week 9. Green-Ellis was averaging 57 yards rushing per game and 5 yards receiving per game. Green-Ellis’ rushing yards per game were down nearly 5 yards per game from last season.

Green-Ellis was ranked as the 18th ranked running back according to Yahoo! heading into his match up with the New York Giants who rank 28th against the run, giving up 130 rushing yards per game.
